The middle of June on our fifty acres in the wilds of BC

Exciting skies and some wicked storms.

Still open mornings

The hay is not 'as high as an elephants eye' just yet ~ but soon.

These verses from Hammerstein's 1943 hit musical Oklahoma, do kind of sum up our summer mornings on the meadow.

There's a bright, golden haze on the meadow
There's a bright, golden haze on the meadow.
The corn is as high as an elephant's eye
And it looks like it's climbing clear up to the sky.
Oh, what a beautiful Mornin'
Oh, what a beautiful day.
I've got a beautiful feelin'
Everything's goin' my way.
With loads of love.  Till next time.

Beauteous . . .

May Days
oh my!
Bears and   brightly lit storm clouds,
very small rabbits and wooden rings ...

It's magical,
inspiring
and downright delightful!

So blessed we are.
As always, thanks for dropping by
and letting us share it with you.  With much Love.

A morning in May

6:30 in the morning.
Perfect time of day for a walk.
The trail around the meadow is a comfortable mile.
It's easy to stretch a 12 minute walk into a half hour saunter depending on
how many times I stop to take a photo
or to listen to the edges of a new day.

Beautiful mornings
and work we love.

Our prayers are songs of gratitude.
